【Product Overview】:

A disc screen is a device that uses multiple sets of star-shaped or disc-shaped rotors rotating alternately to screen and separate materials. It is particularly suitable for processing mixed waste containing a large amount of lightweight, flaky, fibrous, or entangled impurities. Its open structure and strong agitation capability can efficiently separate fine materials and large debris from municipal solid waste, construction and renovation waste, aged waste, and industrial solid waste. It is widely used in waste resource recovery, recycled aggregate pretreatment, and pre-composting sorting processes.

【Product Introduction】:

This equipment consists of multiple parallel shafts, each equipped with several star-shaped or disc-shaped feeding teeth (discs). The discs on adjacent shafts interlock. When the shafts rotate in the same direction or at different speeds, the material is repeatedly agitated, tumbled, and shaken between the discs. Fine materials fall through the gaps between the discs, while larger or tangled materials are pushed to the discharge end. The discs can be made of wear-resistant alloy steel, high-polymer engineering plastics, or composite materials, balancing wear resistance and non-stick properties. The equipment has an open structure and strong self-cleaning ability, effectively handling high-humidity and high-mixture garbage conditions. It can be integrated with crushers, air separators, magnetic separators, etc., to form an integrated sorting line.

【Working Principle】:

After entering the screen chamber, the material is continuously tumbled and moved forward under the forced agitation of the rotating discs. Particles or debris smaller than the disc gap pass through the gap under gravity and become undersize material; larger objects such as lumps, plastic bags, and fabrics are pushed to the end of the screen and discharged. By adjusting the disc spacing, rotation speed, and shaft phase, the separated particle size and processing efficiency can be precisely controlled.
