Manual sorting platforms are primarily used in waste processing lines where mechanical sorting is not feasible. They are mainly used for manually separating large interfering materials before the rotary screen and for manually sorting recyclable materials after the blower separation process. Currently, there are several main methods of waste sorting in my country: manual sorting, mechanical physical screening, and intelligent waste sorting equipment. The working modes and technical principles of manual sorting and mechanical physical screening are relatively mature. Manual sorting platforms of various specifications, including 4-station, 6-station, and 8-station platforms, can be customized to meet specific needs.

【Key Advantages】:

The sorting platform is located on both sides of the belt conveyor used for manual sorting. Each side platform has one operating station and one waste receiving hopper, allowing operators to stand while sorting waste. The sorting platform conforms to the principle of human-machine integration, with its height determined in conjunction with the belt conveyor, ensuring operators remain in a comfortable working position. The sorting platform is a steel structure, with a discharge hopper in the middle of each operating platform. Protective devices are installed around the discharge hopper and operating platform to ensure operator safety. The platform surface uses patterned steel plate no less than 4mm thick. The platform's live load standard value is no less than 4kN/m². The staircase angle is 45 degrees, and railings are installed on the open edges of the platform, walkways, and stairs, with a clear height of 1100mm. A sealed cover is installed at the sorting platform, using a sandwich color steel plate structure. The dimensions of the sealed cover meet the size requirements of the manual sorting platform. The receiving hopper is equipped with wheels and a fixing device.

【Working Principle】:

The manual waste sorting platform mainly consists of a dedicated sorting belt conveyor, platform, hoppers, control components, safety protection devices, and a light steel work area (optional). Materials arrive at the sorting stations via the conveyor belt, where workers place target materials such as plastics, paper, metals, textiles, batteries, and glass into different hoppers. Any remaining material on the belt proceeds to the next process. The sorting belt conveyor is frequency-controlled and positioned in the center of the sorting platform, with several sorting stations on either side, each corresponding to a waste collection hopper.
